Originally from the Vosges, Julien discovered his passion for cooking and then pastry-making at an early age. He has worked with the greatest: Veyrat, Michalak, Ducasse, Klein, and in the most beautiful houses: La ferme de mon père in Megève, the Plaza Athénée in Paris, the Louis XV in Monaco. In 2010, he joined the Chèvre d’Or, a two-Michelin-starred institution located in Eze, between Nice and Menton. His immense talent has enabled him to quickly establish himself as one of the key players in the gastronomy world. He has many awards to his credit, including the European Artistic Sugar Cup (2007). In 2019, the Michelin guide rewarded Julien Dugourd’s immense talent by awarding him the Trophées Passion Dessert. In 2021, he will carry out a unique project with the Dior house. He imagines a pastry “Vanilla Diorama” in homage to Mr. Christian Dior. He also offers his services to transmit his know-how and his passion via his company DJ Consulting.

Known on social networks, this chef is an outstanding technician. His pastries are unique with their elegant and contemporary designs, simple shapes and bright colors. Light, his desserts are tasty and the mix of textures is balanced. A fan of fruit, he reinvents it in all its possible versions.
